TransferWeek

Well it was fun to been in an area longer than one transfer but it wasn't meant to last. Oh well I'll be leaving my little town of River Falls and I'll be heading to Anoka. My new companions name is Elder Badham, he looks like a pretty cool and I'm excited to meet him.

This week was one of the hardest weeks ever I felt like it would never end, but it was also one of the most spiritually uplifting and rewarding weeks ever. Monday we had a very relaxing preparation day we also got to play board games, that's going to be one of the things I will miss with this transfer. We found our new favorite game ever of all time Canasta, along with Citadels and a few other games the Taylor's have in their basement. We had dinner with B. Taylor and B. Foster, S.Taylor is away for a few weeks, then we did some genealogy with B. Foster after dinner.

Tuesday we we had District meeting and we went on an exchange I was with my district leader E. Smith. All of my plans for the afternoon fell through, But that's ok we ended up planting some awesome seeds of faith. Our 7:00 appointment fell through and our joint teacher for our 8:00 had to cancel, So we did some finding until we taught our Chinese investigator named Jack.

I've learned something about myself I, am very excellent at losing track of time I wont be able to finish my weekly recap but I'll share some highlights of the week.

Saturday and Sunday we had stake conference and we got to hear from E. Ellis of the seventy. He shared an awesome message that was directed towards hastening the work and how every member needs to be a missionary especially in this day and age. He also had several members from the congregation come to the pulpit and share their testimony and experiences with sharing the gospel and doing mission work. During the conference I felt an overwhelming spirit, I felt like things would be ok and that I was doing great as a missionary. I felt like all I needed to do was keep working hard but let the savior and the spirit in more. I could hear the words "you're doing awesome, just let me help you" ring through my head the whole day. So I did I took a step back and let the savior take control and we were blessed with a miracle we met one of the most prepared people I have ever met. Her name is Brittany and we taught her the message of the restoration and invited her to be baptised, she accepted and we set up a time to meet her and teach her more of the gospel. It was so awesome and incredible.

Well I gotta go lots of packing to do.

Till next week.

Love.

Elder Hurd.
