Long Week need a breather

The last couple of weeks have felt like an eternity. Transfers are so hard I hate having to get used to a new companion every six weeks. Just when I feel like I'm starting to know them a little better they get moved or I get moved. Well at least my fiends list is pilling up I'll have a lot of great people to get back in touch with in 18 months or so. My knew companion is Elder Badham. He is one of the most business minded missionaries I've ever served with, he is a second degree black belt and he loves to cook. I don't think much about the first part but if he wants to cook I'm all for it.

We've been having lots of fun, we got to go around and meet a whole lot of people, and do some finding. That's another thing I don't like about transfers, learning a new area. Well its not all that bad its actually kind of exciting I can use the new missionary card to my advantage and knock on as many doors as I want. Unless Elder Badham tells me other wise. Anyway Elder Badham is my fifth companion within these six months and Anoka is my fourth area.

This place is very beautiful I like it. Elder Badham is making sure that I know absolutely every thing about this place. We have been visiting lots of members and meeting less active members and recent converts. My favorite family in the ward thus far is the Norton's they are so cool and they have one of coolest conversion stories ever.

I don't have much to report of for this week. I love you all greatly and thank you all for you love an support in helping me through this mission. I feel the love of the Lord through your love and support. I also want you to know that I have settled in nicely in my new apartment, it is a fairly nice apartment, apart from the ants and spiders and bugs that I've seen creeping across the floor. Its hard to fall asleep sometimes knowing what's creeping around on the floor. Well I'm glad that I'm in Minnesota and not some other foreign country with bugs the size of you head.

Anyway I love you all so much. I'll share more with you once I get to know the area a little better.

Love.

Elder Hurd.
