Today we have our district P-day and we have planed to do lots of fun things that I am going to tell you about next week. Any way this week has been great we got went on exchanges with the Oakdale Elders and it turned into a mini transfer because of the weather. We didn't let that stop us though we continued to work even though we were biking through a blizzard I don't know why but I thought that was totally awesome.
On Monday we had our P-day didn't do a whole lot though because the snow and stormy weather made President Clements ground all of the cars. We had a fun time lounging around our apartment. Then our Zone leaders randomly showed up at our apartment and we got to play some games with them till they had to go. We got ready for the rest of the day and then did some quick shopping and headed home to have dinner with the Taylor's. When we went to go visit one of our investigators Zander, who is a 10 year old boy, we found our that his Mom Keelie and the guy they live with Joe had made another dinner for us. We didn't want to be rude so we ate with them too. I felt so sick afterwards I thought I was ganna die.
Tuesday we had our district meeting and the Zone leaders where there too. I have to say this is one of the best districts I have ever been in they are so much fun. We went to Buffalo Wild wings after District meeting and Elder Roberts one of our Zone leaders and Elder Cryer did the Blazing challenge. Elder Roberts was the only one to finish the challenge. I am so glad I didn't even think to do it because it looked very painful at the end they were both crying and their mouths were destroyed. On our way home we were trying to find trailer park that Elder Ford wanted to tract but we it took us forever to find it and we ended up taking the scenic route back to River Falls and found out that the trailer park was in River Falls. We took some time to try and find some people but there was almost no one home. Then we had to head home for dinner. After dinner we went with Brother Siedow to teach Ken One of our student investigators. We were able to teach him the rest of the Plan of Salvation and we think he understands it. Then we got to teach Brother Foster (Joel Foster). It has been so much fun to teach him he is progressing so well its awesome, he even started teaching us things because he has been reading the Gospel Principles book we left him and the Teachings of Presidents of The Church Joseph Fielding Smith. We took brother Taylor with us and it was supper awesome those two get along well together almost like a house on fire.
Wednesday we started our mini transfer at 1:00 we tried to stop by Zander to give his mom Keelie a paper about scouts she has been trying to get him more involved in scouts and last time we visited we told her about the church's scout program. Then Elder Smith, our district leader, and I did some finding around Zander's home and we found some cool people and one really angry man who was shouting at us through his door but we didn't hear what he was saying till he opened his door and started cussing us off his porch. I looked and him and said you have a blessed day sir.
Sorry this one is going to be shorter to I'll keep it more brief next time
Sincerely
Elder Hurd
