I deeply apologize for this letter I usually have my planner and my journal right next to me so that as I write I can look back and reflect upon my week but sadly I left them home. Oh well better luck next time. However just because I don't have my journal and planner with me doesn't mean that I can't express my feelings and thoughts about this last week. It only means that I won't be able to do a daily breakdown.
This week I want you to know that Elder Allen and I are doing well and that we are finding new and exciting ways to share the gospel with those we meet here in Brainerd. We are constantly improving our teaching and we have been sharing our message with everyone we find. We are gathering the fruit of the Lords Vineyard and we are planting seeds of faith every where we go. We have been having loads of fun sharing what we know to be true with those people we meet. We have been consistent in our efforts and we are working towards becoming more consecrated servants of the Lord.
I thank all of you for your love and support. I know that the Lord will bless you for all that you do, and not just what you do for us missionaries but what you do for him as his children. Remember the council of the savior when he said "When you have done it unto the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
Sincerely
Elder Hurd
